I used to live in Japan back in 97. That was my first exposure to the Skyline. I loved the R32 and R33's. When the R34 came out I thought it was "too extreme". I didnt really like it at first. But it has grown on me. I still like the 32, and 33 better though.

I bought the GTST4 because I drive highway 95% of the way to work and back every day. ANd we can get some pretty bad snow on some days. So I figured a 4wd skyline would be better than rwd. I guess we will see if it really works out that way.

Now I have a LOT of reading to do so I can become an expert on this car before it gets here.

Why am I here: two years ago one of my friend bought a Honda Civic 93 and he actually bought me into it. I bought my first 92 Civic a month later and I transformed it to JDM specs/look. Then I had a 95 civic which was actually a piece of crap which I sold to buy a 98 Civic which I had lots of fun with. I then sold it to buy my Skyline. First RHD, first FR layout car, first turbo car. I think the car has been imported by Polo @ Rydz but I could be wrong since I bought the car second hand imported. It's a 90 Nissan Skyline GTS-T 4dr sedan. I'll be fixing it my way this winter.

Oh... why I'm here ? Well to learn what has to be learnt on the Skylines, to talk with Skyline enthusiasts and to buy/sell parts

Why am I here: I have been highly interested in japanese cars and especially the BNR32, 1989-1990 180sx, and s15 silvia(le sigh)... . Ever since I 1st stumbled upon these boards which was about 4 months ago I come back daily, and have found them to be highly informative and fun to read. Been interested in Skylines since Gran Turismo 1 for PS1, just got out of 5 years of owning Porsche 944's, just bought a black 89 Skyline GTS-4 last week and I'm loving every minute of it. I'm trying to absorb as much info as I can about these cars, as fast as I can!
Next year, after learning more about these cars, I plan on upgrading and importing my dream GT-R.
