Hi,

Not a Skyline junkie, but registered in order to contact a vendor in the classifieds section.

I have a 2004 Mazdaspeed Miata with the Flyin' Miata Big Enchilada, which I installed last summer. Do a lot of autox and lapping. Started living the dream in 2008, so still a relative noob.

First off id like to say hello to everyone, this is a awesome site, so much great info and cars around.

I just bought my first Skyline. Its a RWD r32 4door with a RB26DETT swapped in. Drift Ready

But Now for the sad part, before I can register and get this on the street I need either replace or rebuild the turbos because the gaskets are blown and there spewing oil thought the system, also need to find a windshield to replace the current one which has a crack down the center.

And as like any car of this caliber the tires also need to be replaced.

Why am I here: I am here because you guys were the first result when I searched Skyline forum, on google. I wanted to find myself a dedicated group to skylines, and I found one that is local. In the next few years, I will be building a skyline for the track. I usually spend about 3-5 weekends (per year) at Shannonville with my 2008 Nissan Sentra SE-R SpecV. Now I've got the coin to back my dreams of owning a Skyline, without embarassing the Skyline community. Too many times, I have seen a R32 skyline making lots of noise, going next to nowhere. The driver has sorts of engine problems, and decides his next investment is on a Folgers can muffler. That's not me.

I'm looking forward to chatting with you all, this looks like a great forum.

A Little About Me

So I guess this is my formal intro, I've been reading this forum for quite some time, and am finaly ready to purchase my first GTR.

A little background on me-

I'm a 29 year old White male living in Brooklin Ontario, I manage the Ajax Future Shop Install car install bay, and last fall I hit a deer with my baby ('04 Laser Red G35 M6).

After the appropriate grieving period, I have decided that its time to move on, and started looking to replace the love of my life.

I've always wanted a R33 GTR (well at least since i realized it was the only car that could beat the mitsubishi 3000GT in Gran Turismo all those years ago) and now that its actually possible to own one, I figured, what the hell, you only live once, so I began my epic quest to finally own the car of my dreams.

This forum has been a great research and learning tool, and I am proud to finally call myself a member

I'm currently still driving my winter beater, which is a 1991 Civic DX sedan, and as fun as that little peice of junk is to drive, its starting to cramp my style!

Thanks to all the people it takes to make this site possible, it is the greatest resource for Canadians who are interested in these wonderful cars!
