I think this could introduce more flow. Intake from the front, and out from the rear holes like your Francois
haven't had time last night to take the cover off, but i looked at it for a long minute and,
based on my Fluid Mecanics engineering class, machining slot at the front of the cover won't actually do anything
since the very front of the cover is lower than the cam cover, air won't follow the downward curvature perfectly, and with only a slot, the low pressure fast moving air won't enter the high pressure zone under the cover
you would need a scoop to do that, which all the other slots kinda act like because of their angle (mostly the first 2 slots' pitch)

you don't really need a "flow" of air underneath the cover, all you need is to let the hot air escape at will instead of beeing trapped under there,
its not like its a radiator..

trust me, the slots are effective enough, adding a forward slot doesn't justify another +~20$

Alberta franc has proposed a good point. Who knows where I can find a used cover? I don't have a 26 one atm
          Victory is on the horizon..

Frank, how much with shipping to 80123 USA? I'd like to get this for my car, and I have a spare sitting at home.

You will definitely have mine before then. This is an awesome opportunity! My GTR was misfiring so bad from this problem after a few laps on the track.
