It doesn't expand as much as you think :wink: Thats why you see even the extended collars and R33 cranks worn like this one. It's a good deal. I would get one if I didn't already buy a new crank

Ben is right.

Your not going to expend .002 of an inch from cold. If that were true your engine would seize after it warms up.

as for the head drain fitting; I only got one made last time so Im getting a quote to get a bunch made up and will have a price up in the next few days. As soon as I do I'll PM you and let you know.

I am currently rebuilding my engine because of this issue. My GTR is a 1990 and yes I blew a shift and redlined it hard!! The pump didn't blow when that happened but the next day i took it out it made a gear wining sound and then stopped and the oil pressure light came on. I was lucky i was at low idle when it went and saved my engine and crank bearing surfaces. The inner gear split in two and the crank spun all the way around it causing the 5mm contact area to round off. I bought a used pump that I'm not going to use and it shows the contact area and it does take a beating. I am a machinist and i am going to machine my crank and my own collar for my new N1 pump and yes they need to be a tighter clearance fit.

Very interested in both the collar and drain. Does anyone have any tolerance specs on the raw brokerage collar? They were backordered when I went to order one, and looking now, maybe that was a good thing.

Im all out of collars. Im getting more made up Monday and will have a price posted for the oil drains for Tuesday and they will be ready for then too.

I'll get pictures of the drain up tomorrow but its self explanatory. -10 an fitting right in the rear welsh. Press fit. Just toss the fitting in the freezer and heat the head up and toss it in.

Head fittings are going to cost $65ea Plus shipping. Since it is over 2cm I have to ship small packet. It will be approx $9 to ship it. If you want me to send it Air rather than Surface its an extra $1.50 approx. All within a couple bucks. once I ship out the first one i can post the exact price with small packet and express post price. You will only be charged $65 tax free plus the shipping cost. If you buy a collar and a head fitting together i can do the pair for $250 Shipped anywhere in Canada.
