-10an drains... my -8an drain plug was tight

good luck fitting a -10an fitting in the back of the motor with out pulling it out!!!

i had to bang in the firewall to fit this-8an in and the motor was out too!!

with a -10an fitting it might be a very snug fit!!

yep. I am aware of that. I run trap doors in the fire wall. But you do need to either bang with a hammer or do some fab work. I dont run my OEM heater box in my race car so the trap door works well for removal. Just enough room to pull it off and away from the fitting to pull the cyl head off at the track.

I do have lots of collars and fittings. I am in Vancouver "coquitlam" right now and can meet people to show anyone who may be interested.\

I took pictures of the fitting but I am in the middle of a move and it is just a little inconvenient to grab them right now. If someone is really needing them just pm me and I can figure it out and post them up. Its just been a busy week.

      So:

NOW LOCATED IN VANCOUVER "Coquitlam" for pick up or drop off.

wow that is a very tight fit guys. I was able to run a -6 drain off the back of mine and mine only sits 3/4 of an inch off the motor. From the looks of the one that you got off of there jeff it looks like it sits an inch to an inch an a half of the back of the motor. Why did you just do a 90 degree right off the frost plug and come down the side of the motor with the line??? Anyways I was just wondering. I will take some pics over the next couple of days when my engine goes in on the clearance that i will have and post them up.
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

Is there clearance problems with aftermarket pumps as well ? or just oem and n1 ?
for instance, how are the Tomei and Jun pumps on either a Jun collar or R33 crankshaft ?

I suspect that the Jun collar should fit the jun pump. But I couldn't tell you for sure. I have never spent the big dollar on those pumps before so I never had any chance to measure.

Everyone should just measure the clearance on the crank-pump before assembly PERIOD. So simple, so easy.
