  • WTB - R32 GTR 8000 or less

    Hello,

Just like the ad says, I'm looking for an R32 GTR for around $8,000. Im not looking for something perfect but must be in on the road and in good working order.

I'm on the east coast but for the right car I would travel.

    Thanks.

^^ I'd pay the extra $2000 for that car. It's a Nismo and well cared for car, I know because I sold him a lot of the parts on it. Definitely a great deal with all those new engine parts.
For an $8000 GT-R you will end up putting $4000 into it just to get it working properly.

Yup thats what happened to me. I was to excited about getting the car and didnt really check it out like I should have. Since iv had it (june) I think Iv drove it maybe 1000-1500km. Constant coolant leaks, things failing, body in ruff shape. But I have also learned a lot from what happened so if you looking to fix the car up a bit then it could be good deal.

              Hey guys,

Thanks for the suggestions... there's a couple cars in Montreal and the Toronto area I have found that look half decent in my price range.

That Nismo is really my dream car and I actually made an offer on it but unfortunately he is set on 10k - and rightfully so, it's worth every penny I'm sure.

I have a lot going on right now so really I'm tapped out at 8k if I have to travel to get it.. 9k if in a days drive. Anyway, I guess I was just hoping someone was considering selling their car and hadnt advertised it yet. If something like that comes up then I'd appreciate it they could post it.

              Thanks

Have you thought about getting a job and saving a few dollars to get a good gtr? Those ones in Ont and Quebec that look good are probably just looking good lol. Also, now that they're more or less banned in Quebec, I'm guessign they'll be worth more so if someone is fetching less than 8k, make sure it has an engine

I have seen GTR's sold for 5500 that were in good condition visually and engine wise. I dont know why everyone on these forums has the "GTR for 9999???? Its junk. minimum it should be 10000" attitude. I think its because GTR owners cant believe that a car they paid 10000 for 3 years ago is not worth 10000 anymore.

Think about it this way. If someone is selling a NISMO GTR with a rebuilt engine and a crap load of upgrades for 10,000 then how much should a stockish gtr with the never changing list of "changed oil every 3000k, exhaust, intakes, and rims" mods be? 15000?
