What are decent options for tscs? I haven't looked into them much but have always been interested.

            Hi there.

Just wanted to put my humble opinion. I looked at alot of torque controller. I finally decided to get the tsc extreme. It is awesome. It is good because you can turn up or down to what you want or just switch to awd. IMHO this is great.

                I've got an Extreme TSC.
I did this bit on it a couple of years ago:

Good write up Bobbo. I have the harness installed in my gtr for the hks controller but I haven't heard much about those and haven't seen any for sale around the forums. If I find one I may give it a shot and if I don't like it I will try one you guys have mentioned!

One of the tricks we would always do in our GTR's was during driving, pop it into neutral, turn off the car while coasting down the road, turn it back on and youd be in 2WD mode. As soon as the car slowed to below 10kph the car would automatically go back to AWD and you could drive on.

My question: If you have the converter set to 2WD, then without turning off the car, flip the switch back to 4WD, would it automatically change if you stopped the car completely? (Under 10km/h as mentioned before)?

The extreme tsc requires you to shut the car off and restart. That's the only downside if that's considered a downside. For what a tsc is intended to do I can't see spending anymore than a couple hundred bucks. The law of deminishing returns I'm sure would apply.

I used to have the extreme tcs (eBay) and have upgraded to the Skylab unit. I have a spare left (new in box) which I bought for a buddy who ended up getting out of the skyline scene. PM if you want details

'Upgraded' to the Skylab unit? So you think the Skylab one is better?
