  • Nissan GT-R V-Spec lap times stun observers

This seems kind of far-fetched. But if the Spec-V is going to be this fast then....wow.

I realize that the pictures are really grainy but the brakes look like they are carbon.
The GT-R is like a condom... It's better to have one and not need it then to need it and not have one!!

Utterly incredible, to put this laptime in to perspective properly you need to read and watch this :

again this reiterates the reason we all love the Skyline and the heritage behind it, what a great freakishly fast ride. . . and we all own a piece of history!(pat yourselves on the back ladies and gents)

            Zonda Roadster F Clubsport: €560000.

Nissan "Skyline"(will always be one in our books) GTR Vspec: Sub 100000$USD (guess)

Now thats the version I want...same color too. I like the standard version, great car but its heavy and just has lost the raw race feel to it.

I hate how all these losers were chiming in about the ZR1 killing the GT-R. The ZR1 is very limited and 2 trim levels above base.

The V-Spec is one trim level up and will likely murder the ZR-1 in any contest. When we see a Z-Tune, I have no idea what that car will do race open wheelers?

So many people think the ZR-1 is the greatest thing since sliced bread... there is more to going fast than just power/weight ratio.

I like the look, features and performance of the ZR1. Plus its great to see GM no bitching out like Chrisler who is deep-sixing the Viper because halo cars don't make money.

But lets not get confused here.

The GT-R is an unbelieveable piece of technology. It is the standard version and the first model year. This car will be amazing in V-Spec trim and unstoppable in Z-Tune form.
