Make no mistake, the ZR-1 is a beast. It was one of the few cars that gave my 89 GTR a run for the money at the Monday circuit series I did this year. He could beat me most of the time in the dry, but as soon as traction dropped off a bit there was a different story!
Tires and some suspension tuning + tightening the nut behind the wheel and maybe I can edge him...

And the new 911 Turbo S beats both of them significantly (for more money of course). 0-60 in 2.9 seconds and a 10.8 1/4 mile straight from the factory.

I like how they say they are going to see what is the better car all around on the street and the track, yet they only test it on the track. The GT-R is a better car on the streets hands down, much more comfortable and luxurious.

I wouldn't mind having a new GT-R, but I'm saving for a 911 Turbo. I would take either of them over any Corvette though.

          I hate threads like this.
I hate even more when these types of threads are dug up again a year after it was posted.

525 AWHp... Not sure what the ZR-1 puts to the wheels, but they're fast. This was on a circuit so power was only part of the picture.
