Even the cost of our "BC bud" is influenced by fuel / transportation / hydro cost's.. Thankfully the government has not taxed weed yet LOL

Still things here are much better than the USA at the moment and BC /Canada should be able to weather the storm, the Olympics should help keep things rolling until the US recovers or turns into another USSR

I just wish we did not get pulled into spending billions on this freaking stupid war in Afghanistan

I just got a big payment for a part I was selling on the mazda forums. I'm going to let it sit on my paypal until I need to buy something since it's in USD.

At leas it won't hurt as much to swap it to CAD and then back to USD with paypal conversion fees.

****. I did a bit of a tally, and instead of $2300-+ it's now going to be almost 3k for my single turbo parts.

              I'm not happy.

The Canadian dollar just made a 5 point jump against the Yen, so things are looking up! 1 CAD=90 JPY, not too bad....

                              Sell Sell Sell!

The exporters in Canada are enjoying this right now, importers, not really. (JDM)

I've been told that it's due to the bail out buying out the USD to increase its cost. It will subdue soon and should be near 1:1.

Not sure about JPY to CDN as it's definate that USD will fall big time soon.
