a few of my friends that drift pro in the driftmania series are going up there with the canadian contingent some to drift but mostly to spectate and help out with the canadian contingent. just wondering who is going there and how come i didnt see chris'(canadianskyline) name in the roster?

i know 4 people from australia that are going.

Pretty much our top 4 drifters are heading over. Big budget teams (well for australia). The top 3 from our national drift comp and then another driver whos the only one in aust to have an official d1 licence.

fred was the only canadian invited.

chris and 3 others from d sport are invited to the pro ams though, reo baird, conroy ganson, and rob parsons.

fred didnt end up going. marco santos is going to drift though.

for anyone interested heres the lineup for qualifying. its sad how we only have 1 person representing canada. but still 1 is better than none. lol.

............ well i grew up with leighton fine who is representing aust..... but then again if i dont go for the canadian... my canadian gf will kill me. so pretty much im screwed lol

Talked to Santos and he is amped and ready to go.

Should be a sick event and a big move for drifting in North America.

Event was sick today. Santos is an animal and fast building a reputation as one of the nut jobs in the invitational. He hit the wall yesterday AND today initiating super early and not using any brake.

But the good news is the car is "fixed" and back in action for tomorrow.

The G has to be retired though, every panel is mashed.

On the downside, the California wildfires are making it really dark and covering everything in ash all day

yeah i have heard mixed comments about the event. I think most of them are cause the aussies didnt wualify very well. No used to the tighter tracks. One of our guys smashed a 250z
