I've used vista a few times... enough to know that I don't like it.

For Win 7 I'll probably wait at the first service pack before I install it even if I'm eager to try it. I hate to reformat because installing them damn raid drivers is always a pain... especially on XP when it requires a damn floppy :hit newb:

Frick ya. i hate that XP needs the Floppy to install the Raid Drivers..

I was leary about Vista at first however.. it does everything i need, and hasnt caused me any issues..

you should just run Windows 7 in a virtual Machine..

Sounds like you system is more then enough to run it nice and solid..

then you can just delete whe your bored..

        :-)

          The only thing missing is a Quad Core I'm running a E8400 @ 4Ghz but I'd like a Q9450.

I overclocked my 8400 on a span of 6 months and the thing is also watercooled with the stock cooling of a thermaltake Kandalf LCS. I never saw the temp going above 33°C last summer.

do you guys game? I would upgrade it just costs a fortune to stay up to date, you loose alot of money doing that. id rather save for a second skyline. While talkin about money, i cant find a job no where is hiring!!

                        I figured you would..

anyone with a good system buy from NCIX..

It was a happy day when my buddy got a Job at the Head office..

no longer do him or i have to deal with the crappy customer service..

                        Nice Setup BTW..

I dont game at all.. no time. as for Upgrading..
My Buddy works there.. so i get cheapest prices on all parts..

and i sell my old parts at the same or more then i bought them for..

That why i upgrade stuff a couple times a year.. so i dont loose that much value..

what type of work are you looking for?

Don't forget that the alphas and betas always run faster than the final version when all the crap gets put in.

I had no problems with vista. The big problem with vista was the damn hardware manufacturers not releasing drivers.
