  • well the Mini is finally gone....

this is what I ended up trading for it. sorry, the pics suck but I just took them when it was getting dark and used the camera settings to compensate a bit.

HMMM... why is the boot so small, maybe the engine has something to do with it.. :-D

It's a fun little car. RWD Mid-Engine. Rev counter goes to 9k redline. She's for sale BTW ... just thought I would throw that in there.

Fun cars, I have one myself. Favorite part is doing spark plugs on this

Have you found the gas door opener yet?

There's a nice grey beat somewhere in metro-Van for like 5900. Was very appealing, but too impractical for me. As far as Kei cars go, AZ-1's FTW.

I am planning to do the plugs and change the oil tomorrow. Are the plugs accessible from inside the car behind the rear seats (under the panel?). And yes I know where the gas door pull is... Zulu found it while I was looking int he car .

Not anymore. This yellow one is from the same guy. I was originally going to trade for the silver one (with the hardtop) but he sold it. I've driven both, and IMO the yellow one drives nicer. The silver one had more A/M parts but was a little more "beat"...

I would love an AZ-1, problem is they still cost over 1 Million yen in Japan. No thanks.

oh, and if you're wondering the white stuff is not paint damage (the paint is minty)... it's snow.

Ya plugs can be done from the interior, such a hassle unless you take the seats out. They don't tend to leave enough room for a person to get behind the seats.

It took me like 30 minutes to find the opener while I was sitting at the pump. Finally I found the owners manual and figured it out.

well I'm going to try it out tomorrow, we'll see. I would rather not take the top off.

But whoever thought of putting the latch release in that spot was thinking "oh man, so many people will have no idea where it is! " when they designed it.

lol, thanks... at least I only have to change 3!

does your body roll like A LOT?!? mine does, my guess it's all stock under there which would make sense. The thing is bone stock everywhere else,.. knob, wheel, wheels, brakes, no tower bars etc.

Havent really done any "aspired" driving due to weather but i can imagine!

if you dropped in a big bike engine, that thing would be insane.

if I dropped in a bike engine, it would be another money pit.

it's pretty fun already, it's so loud and revs so high that you get the illusion tha tyou're going faster than you are. which is not a bad thing for someone like myself if you know what I mean.
