I've been here for years and I don't own a Skyline..in fact, I don't plan on one in the near future. I'm here because the community is more open, friendly and knowledgeable than many other car forums out there.
My current car is J-spec and RHD, although it is not Japanese made. Can you keep a European/VIP section as well? You did say there would be a heavier focus on higher end cars, maybe you can allow us BMW/M-B/Porsche guys to play in your proposed forum?

I second the euro motion! It'll give me more of a reason to post if it happens.

if you're proposing an entirely new website (not part of GTRC!) then do it.
but not if you're considering making it part of GTRC!
i don't want to see GTRC lose its focus. GTRC's beauty is that stuff is easy to find and there's not too much non-skyline info on our pages. except our great OT pit lol.
example:
i'm a big second gen camaro fan and alot of the forums that i look at about camaros are too crowded with non camaro info, they have sections devoted to entirely other cars and it gets too jumbled and hard to find what you need!
Keep it simple!
If this would be a totally different website with a different name i'd love it! maybe even put a big gtrc link on the top of every page!

I kinda like how this one is just for skylines. Civics get there own site, 240's get there own site, rx7's get there own site etc.......I think if this happens this site will become more like Revscne, which will be GREAT for the owner but not so much for its community and users.

But at the same time I love talking and learning about all JDM cars.

I voted yes but after reading thru the thread im switchting to NO. In a perfect world there would be 2 forums, GTRC and the one you are proposing.

i like this site how it is however i think it would be nice to have a forum like this branch out like you said.

i used to be a part of different forums, i have a few different cars, and GTRC by far is the most mature and well put together group of people, like go on driftwest or w/e and see the beaking that goes on there lol, joking or not it isnt really nice to see.

but then branching out may bring in alot of the "Bad Eggs" and make what used to be GTRC crap.

I think it is a great idea, however I it should be more than just JDM.
