My dad got a Ferrari.

Now i am not making this thread to brag because this ferrari is a 1990 Ferrari 348 TS, and he got an extremely good deal on it.


So i made this thread because he was thinking about getting different rims, if you have any suggestions that would be good. Pics are down below

Very cool! But if I were him I would've spent a bit more and gone for the F355. Maybe do newer OE Ferrari wheels on it? If you could do F430 wheels, that would be cool.

you can get the 348TS's from japan for pretty cheap, as in... cheap for a ferrari. lol

some super wide BBS LM's wtih like 3-4" of lip would look pretty good on that

i am not sure what that is Mr.Moderator. But i am guessing you don't like it. It not like i am a big fan, i would take a skyline over a ferrari anyday. But it's also not everyday that someone in you family gets a ferrari, let alone you dad.

Haha, from driving a MK III Supra to a 348 TS. Change might be a bit dramatic.
And I hope your dad realizes that the price for buying a Ferrari is completely eclipsed by the cost of maintaining one.

Oh yeah, just go out to your local wheel shop and pick up a set of 599 GTB HGTE wheels.

Really though, don't stay stock. Those wheels, no offence, are hideous and bland. Do the split spoke wheels from an F430. Would do a lot to brighten up the look of the car.

Next mod - Tubi exhaust! Do it!

BBS or any spoked wheel would look good on that. I'm not really a fan of 5-spoke wheels outside a few select Works and old-school wheels.

@titaniumrings- yes it is, that is actually really really funny hahaha. that is the previous owners wallet as we just got it yesterday(the car)

@CanadianGTR- Oh alright I got you now

@QuietChaos - Its a MKII supra but i am surprised you remembered and yes he does know that. But we also know that the previous owner spent over 50,000 $ on the car, getting it where it is right now. Not saying it won't break down, as we still need to get the computers reprogramed (it likes to act up once in a while)



And I just got back from driving it, first things first, the clutch is really really heavy, took me a little bit to get used to. second thing, throttle is like a feather, third thing, shifter thing is a bit weird, takes some time to get used too

These 4 kids in a Chevy Lumina almost hit us, trying to get close enough to say "nice car" i was like

then putting gas in it, this one other young kid leans on the car peaking in and my dad was like WTF are you doing


All in all it was a nice ride, I don't know if its a car for me, but it definitely turns heads in a small town
