It would be interesting to see schumy come back. I'd like to see how he'd stack up against Hamilton. I still think He require a little bit of training before he raced again. I'm not saying he's become a fat slob but at this level even the meals you eat are very specifically designed for the best possible results on race day.
As far as the reputation for being an A-hole...to be honest I think the sport has become to "proper". Aggressive driving is countered with whining and penalties. Maybe that's why NASCAR has such a following...No B!tch!ing! I've noticed this in cycling as well and I really loose interest when it gets that way. I think thats why i have been following the Lemans series a little more this year. I also happened upon some european GT racing...way more interesting. Real cars, lots of passing and a lot of action (like NASCAR but on a real race track). Too bad Speed channel doesn't pay any attention...sigpic

how can u guys love schumacher so much? sure hes a great driver , one of the best . but i mean come one he brought no spice to the sport at all F1 has only recently gotten alot better . i think its the rule changes / spec changes. i just enjoy not seeing the same 2 people win every race on every course . sure we have hamilton and massa . but its been sooo much better this year when theres actual completion and potentially great drivers have a fighting chance against mclaren and Ferrari. maybe its jsut me but i dont like beign abotu to piratically know the out come of a race liek the back of my hand. sure Australia and Malaysia were complete busts's this year , but remember germany?? holy crap that was awesome u never had times liek that or even the fact that hamilton has won like what? one race this season . im glad the good'ol days of superhero dirvers are soem what over IMO./
and its sad to say but now that massa is out it just levels things out a bit more.
