well i had been down to the states and went to one of the major local cash for clunkers collecting facilities and my heart dropped. I walked the lot and saw cars that were in extremely good shape with trivial problems going to waste, cars that i had wanted to own for a long time worth way more then the 4500 given to just be destroyed and forgotten. On the lot i was on there was a 1970's ford pick up 4x4, big massive truck, wanted one since i was a boy sitting on the lot 80,000M on the clock no rust ( I was in NY) truck even ran amazingly, reason for trading it in, truck needed a clutch. great, and i left the lot as i heard the shop lackey pour the substance into the engine after draining the oil and redlining the rpms until the engine seized. walked over to the chevrolet dealership 1995 chevrolet impala SS 120,000M. body a little on the ruff side but some body work and paint good as new. reason for trading it in needed brakes tires and new shocks. I left before they siezed it.
and a friend of mine sent me pictures on my BB from a couple he had come across.

gmc cyclone and gmc typhoon. both cars i wanted to own since i can remember and back in the day one of the fastest production suv and trucks ever made, really hard to find and drive amazingly. dont know why they were traded in but it made me upset. well after getting upset my boss and i bought a new work truck for a steal and headed back to canada land. real shame a terrible shame
