I think if you got a custom one maybe you can get more. Cause i am pretty sure I have seen some cars and SUV's with 8 letters. I could be totally wrong though

Ontario its 8 characters. whether you have 8 letters or 4 letters with 4 spaces...whatever you please. It doesnt have to be a full 8 either. theres a guy on my street with just 3 letters, his initials.Victory is on the horizon..Comment

I dont see how it would be denied. Its not rude, or slandering in any way. You just have to give a reason for why you want that specific plate. When you fill out the application it should read something like this :
Custom plate: What
