Sadly no. The FD is filling the gap until the Japanese police finds my car. Which might never happen because they are lazy and don't seem to care about car theft! They are pretty much just waiting for someone to find it and give them a call.

As far as I know, the Tokyo Police are majorly funded by the Yak's, which could not be a good thing if it was one of their cutter shops who stole it in the first place.

So if the car is never recovered, you won't buy another? Would insurance not cover something like that? Or did that pay for the FD

Japanese insurance is BS! So I'm basically out 2.5 milion Yen. And to be honest, I can't really afford to spend that much money again for another GT-R. The FD was a lot cheaper, I was thinking of selling her and buy a BNR32 again but I'm getting quite attached to her!

That sucks. I'd like to see the FD prosper, and you get into a GTR again someday!

Small update: I had decided to fix up the wheels myself. I'm almost done now, I just need to clean them up and paint them. I had stopped working on them for a few months, but my blowout I got on the highway while driving my FD gave me the motivation to finish fixing up the Work wheels and get them on my car! Thay will be black with a silver lip. Should look pretty nice when I'm done!

Also on a positive note, I decided to keep my FD! I'm just too fond of her to let her go!

You know what whee's look amazing on an FD? R32 GTR's. Actually, now that I say that, R32 GTR wheels look amazing on most older Japanese cars. I've seen an FC rx7 with em that look amazing, s13's, s14's, and and R34 GTR drag car (they looked kinda small, but still awesome). Nissan reallly hit the mark with them, because they still look amazing to this day.

If only there was a way to increase the size of a wheel from 16 to 17 inches....

polished lip/ painted face combo is fugly and lame..

those rims would look awesome if you painted the lip/face the same colour, gunmetal would look pretty good on montego blue.

or all white, that would look pretty good too
                        or all matte silver

SSR Type F or Advan RZ are the best two wheel IMO for the FD.

I'm done refinishing my wheels finally! It was hard! They are not perfect, but I'm very happy with them!
