  • Floor jacks....what are you fellas using?

I *USED* to have a Motomaster CrappyTire jack, but that fell apart yesterday, so am looking at OTC, Omega, AFF or *MAYBE* AC Hydraulics low-profile jacks...what are you GTRC'ers using and why?

I believe this is what I'm running. Does the trick for me. Why pay big bucks if I only use it a handful of times a year? Besides, it's part of my dad's collection so it's not like I have a say

The red low profile from Costco is a good deal but it was still too high for my car so I went with the blue low profile from Princess Auto. Quite happy with it.

Got a yellow low pro from princess auto, works fine, need another one though since 2 is better than 1. The car is low enough to rape fenders with 12kg/mm suspension so you can imagine how low it is. It gets under the car alright... if I have a 2x6 under 1 wheel lol.

Yea....wanted to get the low-profile one from AFF or Omega...2.75" of minimum height sounds great.

Well after using my cheapo jack/stand kit from ctire, I will be returning it... lets just say it struggles to lift the front end of the GTR off the ground lol.

                      This is the kit:

                      don't buy it.

On that note, anyone got any recommendations?

                      EDIT:

                      found this one

which looks identical to the ctire model

will either of these have enough juice to lift my car? lol

I know it says 3000lbs capacity but its not like i am lifting the whole car at once with it.

I've got the michelin one from canuck tire. They had it on sale for like $80 for a few days and I bought two. It works great. although now with my new lip I can *just* get it under my car.

it should be the same as the omega but in canada. i've been searching for months of a canadian alternative since shipping via truck from the US is a raping. i just came across this and your thread today.

there is something wrong with my account and i can't post messages for some reason so please post about it in your thread to let everyone know.
