Someone on here (??) has his FD for sale, direct from Japan where he lives, for 7500 dollars. All original, and minty fresh. That's likely the best price you'll find for a GOOD FD.
4000... well I'm guessing the seals are about to go, maybe the turbo's have already gone... high km's? Or maybe just the ODO rolled back? Bad interior? Worse body? I'm guessing he's not throwing any spare parts into it to make it run right if it does break right?

For your own good man, listen to us. We were all like you once, fantasizing and hoping, but even me, with my down again and up again choices, knows the difference between pushing yourself into a hole with them, either financially, or drivewise. If you don't believe me, look at my previous posts. Ask any member here too, they'll all tell you I enjoy cars maybe a little too much, and I'm constantly wondering if I should squabble what little savings I have on an FD, or a cheap cheap Skyline. Then reality kicks in, and I realize I'd only be putting myself into a huge rut.
Take our advice man, and do the right thing.
