all these between highschool, dive school, working out of country for a while, and a few years of college..........

85 mercury lynx wagon 5spd - heap of ****, 500$ and a burned valve. rebuilt head, found random equal-length header in pick-n-pull, straight-piped it and severely chopped the springs. sold for 500$ years later to buddy who flew it sideways into a tree.

(part owner >) 2000 focus wagon zetec - freakin awesome, somehow held as much crap as old minivan. Really fast, and as I discovered, does not play nice with large trees and rocks, though the seatbelts work.

89 jetta 1.8 5spd - ripped off on this, 1950$, nearly no compression in one cylinder, usual cornucopea(sp?) of electrical gremlins. mounted old BBS', pressure washed enginebay, sold 1500$

05 kona stinky deelux - (Lol.) bought new, daily driver for a summer, still have it in pieces.

91 nissan stanza - 1200$ had a few strange electrical issues I never figured out. Daily for a year and a half through two nasty winters and no less than 33000km's in one summer. sold with ridiculous milage and done valves for 1100$

(after mustang) 89 civic dx - 1g$ what a heap. owned it for a year and a half and thought it was going to implode every single day. (WTF is with the alternator position? that **** is sadistic) jackass backed into me so I found a red hood ( car was silver) and sold it for 1250$

    the good stuff:
92 mustang coupe 5L 5spd - this thing was impossible. mint cherry red factory paint, local 100k km car owned locally by little old lady who kept (every) record since new. no options and brand new clutch, 4g's. Beat the hell of it autocrossing and fooling about, sold it for nearly 8g's months later to start importing.

91 gtst - ~7500, an import concern special. (I didnt know any better!) usual drift slut goodies; wheels, origin kit (destroyed), 2-way, seat/wheel/floor brace. And a load of rust and hidden damage. fixed everything and miraculously sold it for a slight profit.

92 gtst - (undisclosed$) some of you may remember this one, Chris owns it now. Built to the tits. Built short block, cams, td06, cooling mods, cage, most suspension adjustable, gtr rims, gtr body panels, gtr interior. Had a lot of fun scaring sport bikes and porsches, passed it along (later dynoed at ~370whp? I think....stock gts injectors lol!)

89 gtst 4dr - current daily/slide slut, bought it with several issues, fixed that. Rolled fenders, slammed it, 17x9's, non-hicas subframe/solid bushings (Like a Boss), shimmed diff, FMIC, custom 3" straight-pipe, 6puck clutch..... 3rd gear smoke on full banks? yes please. ......is for sale so U BAI NAOW

91 Honda accord, sand beige, burgandy cloth interior, auto - bought for $600, swapped motor and sold for $3 000 (sucker )

94 Audi S4, dark green metallic, leather, power everything, car phone, 5 spd - bought for $2 000, ran like a champ for 3 years, built like a tank. I totalled an early 2000's corolla and all it needed was a bumper cover. Tranny died on it last year but the motor is fine. Going to tear the ehart out and put it in the other car then scrap this shell.

94 Audi S4 (again) pearl white, same as above - bought for $1 100, blown motor but good tranny, hence the heart transplant. These cars make great winter beaters.

92 GTR, black, 5 spd - bought in 2007 for $16 500 from Japan, grade 4.0, perfect interior, 57 000 km when I bought her and just rolled over 100 000 km last week. She's been probably the most reliable car I've ever owned. Not a single mechanical problem. I destroyed the stock clutch and had to replace it about 3 months after I got it (my fault, drag racing was fun though). No other problems to speak of.

03 Ford F150, white, 2wd, regular cab, long box, auto- bought for $7 000, use it as a parts hauler / work truck / track transport for the GTR. Burnout king...

98 Ford explorer - (my g/f's) she got it from her parents 5 years ago since they left the country and didn't need it, we just sold it since we didn't need 4 cars sitting in the driveway...

              When I was 16, I rocked out a 92 saturn.

When I was 18 dad said if I graduated (and it was a close call) that when the saturn would crap out, he'd get me a civic as my grad gift.

                2. 1991 Nissan skyline GTS T. Bought from JI with 65,000kms. Even though the timing belt sticker on it at the time said 98,000kms. Knew it was rolled but the condition was decent. Sold it to a guy in aurora who knocked 500 bucks off my asking of 6500 by just saying I dont have the money and I had gotten so fed up with it and just wanted it gone accepted, then he sold it to a guy in winnipeg who crashed it then later blew the motor, great car, wish i could have kept it but i was poor then. 3. 1996 Chevrolet Caprice classic, bought from my buddy who got screwed with it on a shitty trade for his mint 89 caprice classic, thing had alot of rust and 287,000kms but it was reliable and I paid 400 bucks for it so i was happy. threw some dirt snow tires on the back and never got stuck sold it to a guy up norht for 600 bucks after some abuse.
                4. 1991 Nissan Skyline GTR. My first GTR, bought from a guy 3 blocks away for 8,000, steal of a price car was great, but people neglected to tell me about the botched motor instal job, and a couple other things I had to fix later, started to have other issues and was not good for daily driving. Gave up sold it for 13,000

1: Dodge Ram 50. No power at all and no power steering but it was sweet. did an oil change on this thing and the old filter seal stuck to the block. Put a new one on without noticing and ended up spinning a bearing without any oil warning lights popping up lol Didn't know much about automotives at that point

2: S13 shell. Minty no rust or anything. Had the modded Z32 coilovers mounted in the back. Ended up selling it because I was moving to Calgary

3: POS cavalier. Good on gas but the wiring harness was melted together because of the horn wire overheating. I'm thinking it was because of a car alarm. Sold to my brother as a winter beater

                      4. The GTS-t used to have the Testarossa built 2.3L. It was really the starting point that taught me allot about cars heh. The good comes with the bad. Ended up trading that for the infamous Wingnut GTR chassis

                      5. My GTR that sits un-driven till this coming up spring. Tons and tons of set backs but everything is coming together now though

I'm 21... my list isn't as impressive as half of yours...

                          - 1993 Ford Thunderbird SC. Supercharged 3.8L V6. RWD. Lots of fun. Fell in love with boost at a young age I guess... I bought it off my mom and step-dad but left it in their name cause I trusted them. Shouldn't have, I guess I should have seen it coming when I kicked my step father out. He hocked the car (took out a collateral loan on it) and I never saw it ever again. All funds lost.

                          - 1987 Cadillac Sedan Deville; my lowrider phase. Paid $500 for it. Put close to $5G's into it just to keep it on the road replacing everything. My mom had lost her license and with dumbfuck out of the house I was the only one who could drive. Repairs kept my poor highschool ass from upgrading. I went to sell it for $1500 after taking out a small $5000 loan for my Mazda. One of my moms sketchy friends came to "take it to their mechanic." After a few weeks of neglect I found out the car was impounded somewhere along the way. The bill was now $1300 to get it out. I told the tow yard I wanted the year book out of the back and that they could keep it. Told me to come back the next day since it was in a locked lot... turns out they crushed it weeks before. I laughed and said "Your loss, there was over $4G's of parts in that thing..."

                          - 1993 Mazda MX6. 2.5L high compression V6. Was a pretty quick car. Nice and clean inside with leather, power everything, moon roof... a bumping system. It was a wicked car. Regretted selling it the minute I saw someone else's plates on it. I sold it because I didn't think I was going to be able to work much while I was in Uni. Ended up getting promoted and like 3 raises so I decided I wanted another car.

                          - 1980 350 Malibu. My "muscle" car. I decided I had wanted to build one of these months before I sold my MX6 after lining up with a guy. I had killed him but I think the boat was on it's last legs. Found this guy, shift kit, integra buckets, a few autometers, fresh wine red paint, rebuilt 350, dual flowmasters (40 series?), camaro rims. This thing set off car alarms at idle, love that V8. It was a beast and a lot of fun. My mood is greatly reflected in how I drive. I was super pissed, launched from a light harder than my car ever had and then it never really ran the same after that. Traded it for my first truck.

                          - 1979 GMC Grande Sierra. This thing was a beast. I mean a beast. Dual tanks, $70/tank. Filled the thing every morning for work. I needed the truck for the Student Works Painting company I was starting that summer. Two weeks into the summer I had an anger attack and destroyed the passenger side caving in the box, passenger door and fender (door never really closed the same after that haha). Ended up selling it for $250 for some guy who needed to move scraps at the car lot I bought my next truck from.

                          - 1997 Ford Ranger. 3.0L V6 5-Spd RWD. Bought it with my first pay check from Student Works (first cash advance I guess) for $3500. Awesome little truck Cost me $50 to fill and would get me 500kms (after an oil change). Drove the thing for about a year and a half (two summers). Put over 65k on it and only changed the oil when cornering meant 0 oil pressure (so twice the entire time I owned the truck). I beat the piss out of this thing and it would not die. I thought I was gonna just run it into the ground, but ended up selling it for a couple G's. Don't remember how much though. Think it was $2500? Guy still thanks my mother whenever he sees her for finding him the truck since it still "runs like a top."

2001 Ford Ranger. 4 cyl, US truck. 5spd, RWD. Garbage in any conditions other than dry pavement. It was a beauty of a truck though... step side, black... super clean. Lowest kms on a car I've ever owned at like 68k? Sold it for R32 funds.

1993 Nissan Skyline GTS-t Type M. Paid $7000 for it. It needed some work. It was that GTS-t that Derk brought in we have determined. The guy beat on it, I gather it was likely at some point either drifted on an amateur level or a wannabe level in a parking lot. Put some elbow grease into it (along with a helping member on here) and it's starting to get to a satisfiable point...

                          - 2002 Infiniti QX4. It's only really half mine. Gf just bought it off her parents for when we go back east September 2011. The idea is that when we go I sell the GTS-t and put funds towards the QX4 for the winters and we live close enough to her optometry school that we just share that. We'll see...

But I change my cars like I change my underpants. I'm considering the all-famous GTR now... We'll see where the spring takes me.

I have no idea what I will be driving a year from now. In a perfect world I would have a slightly lifted Ranger FX4 and a GTR, and the gf would still have the Infiniti. But I don't think I will be making enough money for that quite yet, other priorities... Realistically just a decent 4x4 Ranger (2000+) and a GTS-t. One can dream, one can dream...

2002 norco shore, frame was the only thing stock. sold and missed greatly.
                            1. 1989 ford probe turbo, 2.5 turbo back exhuast, 15psi probinator chip, beat the skyline that i bought at the track fair and square haha. ended up selling it to buy the skyline.
                            2. 1989 CRX slammed around 2-3" off the ground JDM front end and some crazy built motor by phatboi customs that i got for nothing, ended up blowing it when i ran 89 octane. ripped the motor apart for fun and found lots of surprises. also had mugen replica body kit. ended up selling it because once i had the skyline FWD seemed lame.
                            3. 1988 daytona C/S TURBO!!! 15psi boost, also sld it becuase it felt weird driving, very unstable.
4 1997 intrepid. it was cool for awhile.
5 1989 nissan skyline GTS, still have it will never sell it.
                            6. 1991 nissan Fairlady TT, got it for nothing, stupid low on KYB superstreets lol fixed it, drove it for around 2 months then traded for...
                            7. 1995 honda civic si, sick sparco rims 2.5" exhuast 4-2-1 2 peice headers, hondata S300 soon to be turbo.
im only 19 so i hope my list will grow.
