Was never really into cars until sisters boyfriend took me for a drive in his Supra, was hooked from then on.

Plus I just like the looks a lot more. No domestics that I like.

    Japanese for sports car

    German/Euro for luxury car
    Sideways is the best ways.

Any who. keep the stories coming

^^^^ Who gives a ****. It's your car. If you like it how it is, then w/e keep it. If you want to "fit in" with everyone else replace your hood and front bumper. It would practically look the same as every other GTS-t on here, but it would have an RB25.

The differences in your car are minimal from others. Stop taking the internetz so seriously.

                    Why does it matter?

As long as you enjoy it, you don't need the approval of others. It's your car and do whatever you damn well please with it. (This does not apply to V6 Mustang guy.)

With that said, I like your car and appreciate the effort put into it.

Only thing I would change if I owned your car is some better fitting wheels, and I wouldn't have painted your hood the way it is. Still a very well sorted car and would no doubt outrun many Skylines on this forum. Ignore the negativity, if the car is how you want it, leave it. I guarantee a good percentage of the owners on this site wont like my car when completed as well. Screw `em.

As for getting into Jap cars, was inspired by one ride in a friends gts-t.

When I was a little kid still, my dad had a black 85' Z31 300ZX, and I fell in love with the flip-up headlights lol (anyone notice the resemblance to my 240 ?). I think this was the car that pulled me to the import side (especially Nissan), growing up around one was a huge influence, it was really good looking, was standard, and sounded awesome. I'll always love the Z31 for that. The first FNF came out when I was 9, thought it was epic cool at the time, reinforced my love for the Supra and imports in general, that thing sounded hectic. Haven't ever really been an American car fanatic, don't know why, they've just never really appealed to me, I respect them for what they are, but they're just not my thing I guess.

i gotta say fast and the furious had a big impact on why i got into japanese cars but also this one guy down my street owned a silvia and it was amazing, he showed me lots of cars and i learned a thing or two about them so i guess those are my two reasons why i got into japanese cars

I "got into" Japanese cars when our family got tired of Fords (our family brand for many years) not starting in the mornings and decided to go to the local Honda dealership and pick up a Civic. That was in 1984.

After that I had nothing but imports:
                                84 Civic 1500S
                                88 CRX
                                88 Prelude Si
                                88 Civic Sedan
                                90 300ZX
                                92 Lexus SC400
                                92 240SX
                                90 GTR
                                01 IS300
                                92 NSX
