I thought those things could rev to 9000 with not much work. That's not much of a window to work with. Certainly not what I'm sure the ForceFed rotary dyno sheet would look like that I saw tearing up the track at the 1000' mark (at 130mph I might add).

That thing was spinning the tires in 4th gear at about 9k right through the traps.......YIKES!!!!

    Jon.
Why don't you come over to MySpace and Twitter my Yahoo untill I Google all over your Facebook.

    1990 GTR Drag Special T88H34D 11.24 @ 127.55mph at only 1.2bar...... officially. SOLD

Good point haha I never noticed the fairly limited revs haha, an RB can do better pfft.
Not a bad power to torque ratio though, tuned that way perhaps? Limit revs, up the boost, and so on...

              lol, typical uninformed rotary hate.

              drive one.

I`m not out there to prove anything to anyone. What ever if my car makes less torque than something else. My car will beat %90 of the cars at the track and I`ll be happy with that. It`s funny you make that comment considering that you drive a gts-t. No offense or anything but my 1.3L can net more power an torque than your engine ever will.

Show me another car that will make 430whp on a GT35R at 15PSI with full spool under 4k. And it`s only getting better. There are a lot of companies out there mixing and matching turbos to maximize compressor flow with the huge exhaust flow that rotaries put out.

Let me go find some dyno plots... or hell watch this.

STOCK motor. Just a GT35R thrown on and E85 (sure kind of cheating, but lots of guys are running pump with water injection now and making the same power).

Disposable motors because they're cheap to rebuild? How is that bad?

Also, anyone that thinks that rotaries have no torque have never driven a decent one and are ignorant of the facts. A stock FD has plenty. My 20B cosmo makes more torque (320FTLBS @2200RPM) than any japanese car made for 10 years after it. It also burns more gas than any japanese car ever made, I bet. Oh well. you win some and you lose some.

And this is on a stock engine with stock turbos at 15PSI running parallel.

there`s like 10 pages of dyno plots here
