Generally I'm not one to bitch about officiating but last nights Canucks game was horse ****. Yes we deserved every penalty we got (slashing, holding etc.) but the Kings should have gotten a roughing penalty after Quick punched Sedin in the face and sent him to the ground. And there were a few others in there as well. And that goal being called back was BS. How do you see a kicking motion in someone leaning hard back in the other direction, straight legged?

Oh well. I've borderline given up. I'm gonna start betting against them so I'm at least somewhat satisfied when they lose.

^^agreed 100% that goal should have counted, you can see it in the f** replay that there is no kicking motion all it was that he was pushed and he tried to brake...after that our D was standing around enjoying the view...

well there could have been a goaltender interference call on that one... and he didnt 'punch' sedin in the face he nudged him and he dropped... thats some ***** hockey player if you ask me...

heres the thing you have to understand about that no goal... there was movement in his foot prior to him putting on the breaks, if you look at his other foot he didnt move it and was already breaking, the d-mans feet and stick were no where near sedins foot... so after the puck left buddies stick sedin angled his foot and then put on the breaks, which caused the puck to change direction AND it picked up speed... also there is more than one type of kick... not all kicks have a swinging motion, look at side kicks compared to round house kicks... one could say that the kicking motion was similar to a side kick... the majority of kicks in hockey use the instep of the foot or have a distinct pendulum motion. this kick didnt have what we are acustomed to but none the less it was kicked in...

if he had already been braking before the puck left buddies stick and his foot didnt change any angle the goal would have been allowed...

furthermore, crash the damn net, the kings are crashing lou, jumping on his hand and being relentless in there attacks, if a d-man is gonna push you into his goalie LET HIM it will not be a penalty, and could end up in a goal, hell it might even do some damage or rattle the goalies cage and get him off his game, which quick has been on

but besides it wouldnt have made a differece anyways.. louongo letting soft goals, being all over the place and out of position and poor ray croft no goalie anywehere would have had a chance on that shot, ive never seen a puck loop up and then curve around the glove and end up in the net... by far one of the most amazing shots ive ever seen... and like i said before where is the rest of the team? they need to step up, those ginjers cant do it all

I agree with the rest of the team and Lou being lazy as ****. But the goal that was waved off looked strikingly similar to the Detroit goal a few games back, and it was allowed after review. The kicking motion, however you may have seen it, should not have be conclusive.

But nonetheless, they wouldn't have won anyways so who really gives two shits. They're don if they don't win tonight, and seriously start playing (as a team) like they want to be there.

BIG game tonight for the SENS! They definitely had the PENS on their heels after triple OT, they almost played 2 hockey games! LeClair comes up big and his is definitely going to ride that going back into their house.

I think they will force a 7!

At the very least I hope they beat the piss out of Crosby and they don't advance. Sorry I just think he is very unsportsman-like, overrated and doesn't deserve all the fame. IMHO although Shadao will surely disagree LOL.

I am VERY proud of the Sens!

I'm pissed that the disallowed goal when Cullen was pushed into the net ended up being the difference.

The Pens are a tough team, but the Sens came out to play and they played hard. There's nothing to be ashamed of when we were down 3 key players going into the post season and we made everyone take notice. Game 5 was one for the ages.

Now that hockey is over, time to focus on my first track day next Fri
