  • On my way to pick up the best off roader......................in the world

Heard from a friend that a friend of his had a 1996 Land rover Discovery Sitting behind his house in decent shape needed new front axles. Guy said his wife says its got to go. So I am leaving with my 500 dollars he wants and let you know what I get for it. Said he wants 1000 but wife says 500 and wants it gone. Plus he wants to keep stuff off of it. Has 190,000kms. Engine runs like a clock needs battery heard it run last night. The guy was always very anal about the running equipment of his rover out of fear of it leaving them stranded on there big treks into the woods. Guy had these wicked sheep skin seat covers over the front seats since new so the seats underneath are mint shape no rips tears interior is flawless and was detailed after every trek into the woods. Comes with a steel front bumper with 4 pia big spot lights and a winch. has 3 sets of tires and rims the set on it has 2 flats from sitting but said they will pump back up. 1 set of bfg mud terrains on steel wheels and 1 set of blizzak snows on land rover rims. Needs new front axles after the they end of one of them exploded. Buy today and Uhaul home on the weekend. Apparently is comes with two working key fobs that people want badly since they never work. and a set of rubber land rover seat covers that came as an accessory on the discovery that makes the seats water proof.
File picture but its the same truck just steel front bumper fog lights and winch also has taller springs and new shocks so sits higher.
You can't doubt the existance of hell when you live in it

lol, yeah landrovers arent exactly known for being the pinnacle of reliability

Edit: Budget for some repairs. But until then, offroad the balls out of it, they love it

for somebody who obviously has heard of jeremy clarkson, you sure aren't taking his advice on this car
I've been brushing my teeth with jack but it's resulted in terrible amounts of tooth decay.

Defender>Discovery. By a long shot. Either way, good price..repairing/maintaining it will be a different story.

Is it carbureted by chance? Thinking in 1996 they would be EFI but im not a huge Rover buff.

Haha, that's right. That pretty much makes every other flaw alright.

                            Ah, British cars.
