Just makes me believe in science even more..

        Religion has caused nothing but:
        - Centuries of conflict
        - Belief in something people have never seen, felt, smelt, heard
        - A set of unrealistic ideals in a modern society
        - Intollerant hillbillies in the Southern US
        - Religious rap/country/hip-hop/RnB
        - A system which pretty much condemns me to Hell if I do anything.
        shhhhhhhhhhhh it's a secret!

religion has also been the reason for unbelievable churches and monuments, it's given people a pretty decent set of guidelines for their lives (the 10 commandments), it has helped a lot of people turn their lives around through structure. plus there's just no soul in logic.

and i'm not even religious. imagine what somebody who was would think.

im perfectly fine with religion, as long as they dont get all up in my face and try to convert me. then it just gets irritating and makes me hate whatever religion they're with.

A few million people who have turned their life around does not equal to the oppression of billions throughout history, not to mention the rise and fall of empires, and genocides, mass murders, and old hatreds that have lasted more than a thousand years.
Why does one need to look to a supernatural being, or a set of 'guidelines' to be a good perosn? Why not just have common sense and follow the rules thate HUMANS put in place? Religion is a primitive way of politics and control of the people, this is the 21st century, not the age of the sands.

                        and some people don't.

Well the thing about religion is. If it can't adapt quickly enough and follow
our evolution which is going faster and faster, well it's just going to be either
forgotten or create an other epic moment in history. Guess witch one is more
                          likely.

I personally believe that a this point in time society has a whole should be
able to see how religion in the past has done nothing else than fill there
pocket, and how the system the we live in today still give them absurd
exemption. For example a church does not pay income tax, but try starting
your own to see what the government thing of it, one word (prison).

One thing you should understand about religion is, a lot of it is left to
interpretation. Interpretation that has actually created some of the
biggest religion we see in the world today. Even in the Koran, it's state
when in doubt look in the bible. Like come on, when your religion tells
you to go see an other religion when in doubt, it should tell you something
                          is fishy.

If I had to resume what I think in general of religion, I would have to say
that I feel sad that people take advantage of people, people that are
scared, people who are lonely and that just want to belong. I have seen
people with so much of that so called faith, they could preach all day,
they would go house to house, but never would they debate any aspect
of it. Now I understand that a lot of people who lost control of there live,
turn to religion and I would actually encourage them to do so, because
that is exactly what religion does, it controls you or at least part of your
life. And for some people it actually help them get on with there life,
                          good for them.

A long time ago, I came to the realization that unfortunately religion is
a necessary evil. And in a weird kind of way, we have to live under
different forms of it. Think about it, government have actually evolved
                          from religion.

I just hope that in this day and age, if you do believe in a religion, you
believe in it for the right reason, and you do it in an inform way.
A lot of thing have happen in the past, but we can't always blame religion.
It's human nature to be violent, hell nature in it's self is violent. A lot
of violent acts have been committed in the name of religion, but let's
not forget, they were orchestrated by man.

About the vid, every body should know this by now, the message is not
important any more, most people just want to hear rhymes and beats.
Hell if they did find a nice beat they could probably be aired on MTV.
I stopped counting the song that are about nothing, that have hit the
                          top 10.
