Back to let you guys know what's been happening. Thanks to Nick, I was able to finally secure a basement apartment for myself. Its a shack, one room with a kitchen on the side, in Scarborough, but its MINE. I finally moved my stuff out of her apartment while she was away and that was a very emotionally draining experience. A friend helped me out with the moving of the stuff.

I have started my new job at CIBC as a Mortgage Advisor, which is a few steps up from being a personal banker that I was earlier. Its 100% commission, and for the first few months, I will be spending on learning before making any serious money. Its an uphill climb but one of these days, I will be back in my spirits.

She and I had been incommunicado for some time. She has obviously moved on from what she told me, but for me, I am still struggling. Trying to take it day by day. Its frikkin' hard. But Im a man. I am strong and will stay that way.

So, new place, new job, more time to focus on myself.....things are looking up. Just that I miss her A LOT

And one final note: I CAN'T WAIT TO GET BACK INTO MY GTR!!!! So if anyone needs a mortgage, talk to me. I will get you a very sweet deal and in return will have the money to get my GTR back.

Carter, how can I forget what you've done for me.....over the last 5 months or so, your encouragement from the late spring days is still with me, man. God bless you and everyone who comes into contact with you. You're much younger than I am, but I believe you are much wiser than me.

I don't know what is in store for me, or whether this whole thing is meant to eliminate her from my life or bring us back together in the future when she has figured herself and her issues out. God knows. But I have let my case be handled by the big one. I have, for all practical purposes, submitted my will to God's will. So I will go wherever it takes me.

Funny how when all else fails, we turn to a higher power to redeem us.
