I agree, never get your car fixed there. One thing I would use them for is an inspection on a car I was thinking about buying. They are experts at finding anything wrong even if it isn't. Makes for a good haggling tool. "Look at all the ****'s that broken or gonna break, I'll do you a favor and still buy it, but for $500 less on a count of all the repairs I'm gonna have to do" lol

My sister recently took her car there to get her winter tires put on. When she got to my place she complained about a noise coming from the wheels, went and looked and they forgot to tighten one of the wheels. It was hitting against the hub and making the noise.Sideways is the best ways.

Why would I boycott the store I enjoy shopping for deals in the most? Can't beat the sales they have on tools and other things.
Your first mistake was going to Cambodian Tire for anything other than buying PARTS. Seriously? I can't fathom why someone would bring a car for mechanical work to CTire. Blows my mind... BLOWS IT!

lol, i started working at a Canadian tire last week, and i think you guys aren't looking at both sides of the situation, yes things like your tires falling off cause some idiot didn't tighten them is simply in-excusable, I've heard a few story's from a fellow employee like someone didn't tighten the bolts properly, the wheel fell off, as soon as the manager found out that guy was fired, unfortunately, there are idiots in the industry, unfortunately, we don't know until they mess up, but from what I've heard so far, your first mistake is also your last at that location.Drives

I member 1 good tech while working at Crappy tire years ago, I also saw 2 people not put oil in cars.... this was in a 3 week span of working their in high school.
I recommend double checking wheel torques if ANY shop is taking them off. Very easy to leave a wheel loose... seen it happen many times from torque bars. I always zap the wheels on then drop the car and use my 1/2 torque wrench.

This is insane I wouldn't stop going to Canadian tire if you gave me a million dollars I love that place ! A visit there is almost part of my daily routine haha and if you are taking your car to Canadian tire to have service work done well... You can't be surprised when they screw it up, because as you were driving it there I'm sure you had second thoughts but did it anyways"LAG is the time the guy beside you thought he won"
