Well... I'm back. In good old Canada. Happy to be back in a normal country.

No one even looked at the car at teh border. What did they do? Didn't even get out of his seat :P

AND another suprise! Even though the car is technically 14 years and 11 months old, they go by years not by months. So my car is "legally" 15 years old . So no RIV, no Crappy Tire inspection! It was definatley a nice way to finish off the trip!

Driving through Aberdeen and Fork (along with about 10 Indian reservation cities) I didn't even want to get out of my car.

Thanks, but I can't take all the credit . A lot of the work was done by Ocean @ Chikara Motorsports in Richmond. I did all the easy stuff, he did all the internals, cams, timing etc. But what you see in the pics is me. I did all the parts cleaning, sand blasting, paining and fuel lines .

Getting there. Things left to do.

-finish re-route
-make COP mounting plate
-pressure test cooling system
-install Haltech
-make test pipe

Then start er up!

Headers are on, ARTech exhaust fitted and I made a plug and play COP harness today using the stock plug from the old 1.8L motor. I also de-pinned the 4 injector wires and put them to their own connector for the sequential injection.





Also picked up my new Wilwood Dynapro radial mount calipers today. Ive got to say, the build quality on these is MUCH better than my old dynapros. By a long shot. Ocean is going to make me a bracket that will fit these babies under my new 13x9.5'' Panasport C8's.

And yes, it will fit... it's been done before

that is such a sweet looking motor

i don't get how those calipers will fit inside 13'' rims, the disc will have to be pretty small, which also means the knuckles on there cars has to be minuscule

10.8'' rotor. I had Wilwood dynalites before on the car but they are the cheaper lug mount caliper and are a bit bigger. Going to a radial mount slims the whole package down about 5-7mm.
