Did any one catch in the news today that the entire Rusain team was kicked off their flight going home due to being too rowdy? My co-worker filled me in and mentioned that they were reported "to continually bounce around the plane chanting "We beat canada!"" I'm sure they were yelling in Russian so thats just the english translation. Having just won Gold, or any medal for that matter, show some respect.Originally posted by victoriaGTRtire smoke makes my wiener tingle.

We totally blew that game, but we weren't even slated to take home a medal with this team...
How many of the Russians currently play in the KHL, versus Schenn who has played what... 3 games in the NHL? Sure we had a couple draft picks in there, but other than that we were the underdogs. We dropped the ball and embarrassed ourselves on a world level but no one thought they'd make it to the quarters, never mind contend for the gold. We did great all things considered, and at the end of the day it has built us some modest and now humbled players that will be more respectful and a force to be wrecking with in coming Olympic Tournaments, and the NHL etc.
