I see you trollin. And i hatin. haha.

    How about street drifting?? LOLOLOL

Im pretty sure i know its going to be hard, but at the same time i won't know till i experience it. And honestly. Ive had an easy life so far. And i want to get away from it. I want to be able to appreciate things more. I want to continue to work for the things i have. Growing up was easy for me. I think it was to easy and i got used to it. And i don't want to be one of those spoiled little kids.

If you are open to w/e then come out and experience for yourself.

I could never see myself elsewhere as I love the lifestyle out here as well as some ppl I've met here. It's worth it if you wanna put the work/balance life.

street drifting is near impossible bc that would constitute as "stunting" which means you get your car towed for 7 days and would be responsible for towing/holding/ticket/increased insurance premiums/loss of car for 7 days.

But, so far it's been supplying a good steady supply of skyline parts for the rest of us.

Google map Vancouver and look at vanny and cities west. Its straight forward once you look at the map.

        tracks within vanny:
Mission Raceway Park is one of BC’s premier Motorsports facilities. It plays host to 1/4 mile Drag Racing, Road Racing Course and all kinds of community events.

Mission raceway. Its approx 40-45min east of poco

        ------------------------------------------
Pit Meadows driving center. Just across the river from me. Never been there yet. Seems to be an old airport runway used for solo events.

        ------------------------------------------
        Island tracks:

and then there is western speedway. i dont have a track pic.
Western Speedway, located in Victoria BC Canada features: Auto Racing, Swap and Shop, All Fun Recreation, Go Karts, Batting Cages, Mini Golf, RV Park and fun for the whole family.

        ------------------------------------------
then you got south of the boarder:
Evergreen Speedway or PGP to name a couple

Then there is Vernon, but thats about 5 hrs away.

Wrong. Within 4 hours you have Mission and Seattle Int. Raceway. 5 hours and you can add Portland (Pacific Raceways) to that. Add another hour on that and you have Oregon Raceway Park.

And yes we had a AutoX today. Lots of runs because everyone pussed out because of the stupidbowl. We also run Solo1 (time attack style events) in the summer and there is Knox Mountain Hill Climb. In addition to that, if you go south there are another 4 hill climbs in the northwest.

Not as great as TO or SoCal but still decent if you are willing to drive a bit to go to an event. And PIR, ORP and Seattle are worth the drive. Both are great tracks.

          big diff.

as for tracks within 4 hrs of Vancouver, there's not much. Mission, some in Van isl and down by the states.

PPL can still live and earn fine in Van, just that I think you need to realize it will be much tougher than back where you are from.

Man I wish I would have remembered that there was a slush series today (sunday) I would have come out to take photos
Automotive photos from around the Pacific North West.

Once again, why is money such a big deal. I know money makes the world go round. But it really doesn't have to. There are a lot more things more important to me than money. Trust, respect, honesty, truthfulness, caring, LOVE.

I would much rather be around people who i can trust, who i respect and they respect me, people who are honest, people who care about me, and people who LOVE, than be around people with a lot of money.

Once again, im not saying i don't care about money, what im saying is, it doesn't matter. If you look around you, and you see your life is revolved around money. I'm sorry but that is not right. And that is not how i want my life.

I know what you are saying. And i don't want to be in that state where i have a lot of money at my disposal. You know why, because i will get used to it and i won't want to get away from it. I see the effects of it. My step brother has constantly made more and more money. He will never go back to a normal job, a job that contributes to society because the money has grown on him, He will be lost without it.

I finally realized the true reason why I want to leave Alberta. With the exception of my Dad, everyone around me I don't like, or don't like the way they act.

My step brother is this money head who will never see anything else in life but money. He has a new born son who he doesn't pay any attention to because hes working so damn much.

I have my sister and her boyfriend. He is so caught up in his work and making more money, that he jobs hops so much. He is burning his bridges. ANd i hate. HATE. the way he treats my sister. Im afraid that if i'm here any longer. I will knock him out. And thats not me. Ive never hit anyone before. but a build up of emotions will do that to a person.

My mom, step dad and little brother. He works more than he sleeps. He's never around my my and little brother and my mom just keeps buying my little bro everything. He has a xbox 360, a wiii, a tv, a mac and satellite tv all in his ROOM. and he is 8 years old. YES 8. He is the most spoiled little **** you will ever meet. ANd he doesn't apprciate anything. ANYTHING. HE wants more, MORE, MORE MORE, and it pisses me right off.

I can't be around this anymore. I need to be by myself. Surrounded by honest, caring and loving people. And if that means that i barely get by. SO BE IT

Now i realize this is all fine and dandy for now. But yes, i know at some point in my life. When i meet the woman that is right for me. I will have to settle down and get a "real" job . But until then. I'm going to experience as much as possible. You are only young once and you only have this mindset once.

If was to work the oil rigs now, or go to school. I feel i would be missing out.

                        To each his own
Yes you do sound like the typical teenager who would work at Little Caesar's for $8.75 an hour and then quit after he buys his "dream car". Doing all this without thinking ahead.

You make it sound like anyone who makes or plans to have a good income back stabbed Jesus. I'm sorry if you honestly have trust issues within your family. Not everyone living a comfortable life is an as*hole. The example regarding your step brother, I'm sure most people here would not trade in their six figure a year job for $7 flipping burgers at Mcdonald's. Here's a better example, would you trade in your skyline for a piece of sh*t cavalier or bus pass? Didn't think so.

Most people including myself have struggled at one point or another. Just because we're making decent coin now doesn't mean we don't appreciate the value of it. The reason we're able to make this income is a payoff of our hard work. Not everyone is born into wealth.

You clearly don't understand this as everyone who has an ambition to land a good paying job is Satan.

I guess I'll be missing out during my 3 month trip to Europe, because I can afford to go. Or maybe I just need to befriend poor people.

im not going to get into it again. But i don't think people who sacficed 8 years of there life to live comfortable for the next 40 are satan. My dad has been working 30 years and has been saving and investing so he can do the things he wants in the future.

I didn't quite my job cause i got my "dream car". I had my skyline before i started at my job. I quite cause i was getting 2 shifts a week and i had a chance to work full time with my dad.

I never directed any of what i said at you. All ive been saying is do what you like. It looks like your doing exactly that, and it seems to be working out for you. Am i hating on you? no. So why the hate on me.

My dad wishes i would invest and stuff like that, but he knows the importance of doing what you like. He's been around me long enough to know me. And he supports me going to Vancouver and my world trip in 2013. He thinks they will be great experiences. Cause thats all im doing these for. TO EXPERIENCE things.
