Watching this tsunami footage is just unreal. It's insane how powerful those waves are... They just keep going!
The Tohoku highway going up to Fukushima apparently has major cracks and temp patches have been put in place.

As for the circuit, management have been steady at repairing everything. The next matsuri is still planned for the end of April. Honestly unsure if I'll attend. Heck it should be postponed to be. There is this belief amongst many that the radiation up there is safe. I dont buy it one bit guys. That evac area should be more like 80KM around and not the measly 20-30KM in place now.

You can follow Kumakubo's blog here for updates at the circuit => http://kumakubo.seesaa.net/
And actual Ebisu Circuit staff blog here => http://blog.livedoor.jp/ebisucircuit/

Its been a tough few weeks watching all this unfold. And to think they are still battling like mad up at the Nuclear plant in Fukushima. Yesterday there were talks of spraying down a glue like substance in and around the grounds of the Daiichi plant to collect any sudden fallout. And then later yesterday afternoon talks of the French bringing over a huge radiation proof tent which would be put over the reactor buildings. Temp of course while they are decommissioned. But decommissioning them is small talk. We are talking 10-20 years if done right.

What's got me upset is how these officials over at Tepco have only apologized to the residents in one prefecture, Fukushima. Leaving the the surrounding prefectures unaccounted for. These guys are on cloud nine. **** will hit the fan sooner or later. There's already been protests outside their one main HQ in Tokyo earlier this week. Japanese are patient people but there are always a few that will go well beyond.

The nuclear facility is seriously scary. They're playing with probably the most hazardous material in existence, and they don't seem TOO terribly concerned. I agree that the evac area should be FAR greater than it currently is. Radiation is mind blowing when you think of the effects that something that has no physical presence. No smell, taste, form... It's ridiculous that they aren't just playing it safe and getting people out
