The wife and I are both safe. But the trains are all stopped for quite long I presume. Not to mention the main 246 roadway into Tokyo is also shut down. I may have to take the scooter into Tokyo to pick her up. My one friend is riding his bike about 20KM from Tokyo back into Yokohama. Really no choice!
Earlier today I was outside working on the Silvia, just finished installing Nismo rear traction arms. While leaning up against the car I felt this shake, as if someone was shaking the car by hand but it gradually got more violent. Sprung up to my feet so quick and could feel it getting worse and worse. Ran to the middle of the street, flagged cars to stop and they did. Ended up holding onto the passenger door of 2 ton truck. Japanese driver and passenger kinda looked shocked. I told them ive never experienced something like this before.
All I remember from here was looking up the street and seeing all the poles, electrical wires and building shaking like mad. A little induced I suppose with myself shaking just as much. Shut my eyes from here on and prayed for it to stop. Guys Ive felt the feeling of almost drowning when I was a child and to think this earthquake brought back even worse feelings.
God bless all those up North. They seen some terrible things earlier today.

You can all follow the roadway info here: http://roadway.yahoo.co.jp/
And a good album here of some damage: http://mainichi.jp/select/jiken/graph/20110311/?inb=yt
Honestly think Japan is walking away very good after this terrible natural disaster. Tokyo stands high and all because of high building regs. Honored to live a country this safe.Last edited by support@feastauto; 03-11-2011, 06:33 AM.
