So I unofficially matched the SP (street prepared) track record yesterday at a track day. 1:15.4. Keep in mind I am an SP3 car (smaller displacement) and the car that holds the record is a badass red trans am with like 600whp, aero and 285+ slicks all around. And he has been running Mission for over 20 years.

I was on heat cycled R888's and no aero. Come October in the next solosprint event I will have Hoosiers and aero. Time to set a new record. SP3 record is 18's, SP4 is 15.4.

When is your next mission day? I'm down there for every Sccbc day working pits for a crx and integra. 1.15 is good. Our bracket cars are running 1.18-1.20 times with the Porsche/rx7s running 1.10s.

Nevermind the date, I skimmed your last post on my phone and didn't see October.

Yeah I see your car there all the time. Every time me and my buddy walk by he's always "OMG SKYRINE>>>>!!1!!"

Didn't know that was you. I crew for the white IP2 ITR with the pink windshield banner. And will be doing my novice races in that in October. Which cars do you crew? The flat black teg that crashed on the weekend?

Don't forget to mention they are cup cars and the RX7's are either turbo'd 3 rotor or built LS7

Ya the black integra and black crx. The integra got contact on a corner and a few laps later the hub sheared off with the rotor bolted to the wheel. He is up for the hard luck award for the season, he was the one that also caught on fire earlier in the year. Something impacted the gas tank and the exhaust ignited the fuel coming out.

The 240 that ran last weekend is running a KA24DE, qualified with a 1.08. Was a good race with him and the Forcefed built rx7, even if they were in different classes. Was sweet they are also in the 'slower' class due to engine displacement and walked away from the rest of the field.

Yeah I was wondering what the specialty 240 had under the hood. Impressive to say the least that it has a KA. David Saville Peck also had back luck... leading the race and sounded like he blew the tranny...

When I saw the teg getting towed in with half a hub I kind of figured that's what happened.
