Iphone vs samsung note , phablet... Whos side are you on?

Im using a Samsung galaxy IIs LTE , i will never buy an apple product , i work in the computer industry and I have seen not onl.y the hideous working conditions the Foxxconn workers work in , but also the stifeling of the competition in general (apple told pegasus who make the ipad mini to stop making the new asus slates OR lose the ipad contract- ironic as Asus is a subsidery or pegasus hence the name ).

Apple is a marketing machine nothing else - if it wasn't for the ipod and Iphone the company would have gone years ago.

Their macbooks and Imacs are intel based PC's , and their OS is derived from a basterdised version of freeBSD Linux with the ice interface ( you can download this all free and use it for free too ) Basically the OS was copyrighted by Apple before the true developers ( enthusiasts ) had a chance to protect it as it was originally open source .. hacked just enough by apple to claim it as their own "innovative operating system" . They should have called it apllinux .

Now they are trying to copyright the word "app" as their brainchild even though it doesn't stand for "apple" it stands for "application" , almost absurd as trying to copyright round corners on a square tablet.

I hate the company with a passion and it makes me vomit too see all the teenage isheep buying into the crap .

Hope is on the horizon however , more people are learning to think for themselves and the long line of lemmings outside the applestores waiting for the newest gadget has had its day .

Actually if you download the new distro of linux Mint youll turn any apple pc or IBM clone into a computer that is faster and has more applications right out of the box than any mac or PC does - and once again it IS FREEEEE!!!

gotta love the jabs at apple from disney in Tron legacy too lol

I have apple gear; iPad iPhone Apple TV Mac etc, and love it all. It's just so easy to do stuff opposed to to pc's and other phones/ devices.

Bottem line.. everyone whats a Device that meet that individuals needs..

We can argue all day long about this stuff.. and most of us do..

Apple, Google, Blackberry, Windows, Linux, Chrome, Firefox, R33, R34, the lists go on and on and on..

If we all liked the same products all these different things wouldn't exist.. and we would have nothing to argue about..

So im thankful that we can Argue..

and Cortexx.. Thanks for the mint about that Mint Distro.. I work in the IT industry and i been looking for something just like that.. to help change managments views on Linux. :-)

NP , Mint is loaded on my home computer , it dual boots with windows 7 and shares the same file resources too .

I find myself using windows less and less and linux more and more , it comes with wine and with some tweaking i even managed to get world of warcraft and starcraft 2 to run on it . It really is a true windows replacement .

We use it at work for booting from when we have lost access to a windows file system as it is a simple way to regain access to corrupted O/S to backup data . It ignores windows file permissions , viruses , pretty much everything and allows us to grab unbacked up data easily and safely.

There are several versions , you might have to experiment which distro works best for which chipset - we even have it installed on a non intel G4 mac , makes a great web surfing machine for kid as it simply cannot get screwed up by browser hijacks , scripts , spyware or viruses .

Apple O/S and windows are not secure or idiot proof and never will be . Linux is the true Gem .

Apple devices are neat and very easy to use , i just refuse to contribute to their ******** marketing strategy and their holier than thou attitude . It's just all around bad , same reason really that i refuse to shop in walmart but that is a nother can of worms

I dont give a crap about this, every 2 months theres a new phones better than the last one and look at it, my Galaxy S2 is still perfectly fine and will keep working as good as it is right now.

Look, I wanted to get the S3 but then the Note2 came out and now I want Note2.. and then rumor about S4 and Note3... and new BB10 and the new Xperia waterprooof and ... and.... Screw that. stick with your S2, it will still sms, call, go on the internet, listen to music, play chess and see youtube videos.
