there are a couple guys that work at scooters. Mike is the owner and so far as i know the main proprietor. he does most of the work and i know him thru family. he's straight up, no crap and he does the job right. he says well clear of body fill, won't even go near it. if something needs to be fixed he uses his hands and welding torches.
for paint, i think he's the most trustworthy and best in the city.

Scooter likes to do full paint jobs because he can get more money but yea, if yea if he isn't busy he can do it quick. he can lock the car up overnight in his shop.. i don't think you would have to worry about that.

for work on my car (as in what we've been doing for the last month lol) i trust my hands and thats about its :-? i do the work in my driveway, it might take a bit longer but its peice of mind lol. i've used renforth autos hoist a few times to check for problems when my transmition mount went and to check my brakes but never to replace anything. when i did my clutch we just put it in a garage and put 4 stands under it and got it as high as we could. my car cleared the hoist but yours seems to be way lower lol

as far as the touch up paint goes, the guy that i trust with mine should be home in an hour or so, he used to own a bodyshop for 30 years and only does it here and there now but still has the shop and all the supplies, i'll talk to him and see if he'll help ya out

    Thanks,

How long do you figure it would take him. I am not keen on the idea of leaving my car overnight anywhere. Could he do it in a day? I would only need a light sanding and paint on the 2 front fenders near the wheel wells. It is not rusting, just the paint chipped.

    Thanks

Scooters body shop in Saint John west side is good. he does alot of work on older cars and he does the job right. so far in saint john he's the only one i trust. problem is, he knows he's good and he's expensive but if it's only a touch up it shouldn't be bad at all.
I suggest him. His name is Mike Nicols

    Hey 91blackgtr,

Who does the work on your car? I need somewhere with a hoist that can get under my car. It only sits about 6 inches from the ground. I am going to need my front axle replaced in the next month and I may adjust the coil overs while up on the hoist.

I also have a couple spots on the front fenders of the GTR that I need painted ( blended and matched ). Who would you recommend??

I may also need a clutch kit put in the GTS. I may just sell it as is, and the new owner can get the clutch put in? Depends how much I can get for it??.

    Thanks,
    NBSKYLINE

yea SJ is massive. if you look at the property the city owns it goes right up to grandbay which has got to be a 15 min drive on the highway, and then straight to rothesay which is still another 20 25 min driving thru the city. we could easily house up to another 200,000 people if they made room.
either way tho, it's good you still have the car parked.. i took mine out early to sell the other one. At least i get an early start to touch things up!
