Hey! I'm competing in my last event for the year so if ya feel like supporting a GTRC member come out to the track Saturday Sept. 3rd. PRAY FOR A NICE COOL, CLEAR DAY!
The event is a Time Attack, I'll be in the GT1 class and there will be about 20 cars total.

I'm pretty much game for whatever... as long as I'm home. I'm all over the map for work and vacation this year.
Someone just has to call a time and place and whatever happens happens.

I'm still waiting for my damn parts, including my HICAS Eliminator, as the shipper lost the first package. I need to get the car aligned solid before I can put the sticky tires on and leave for Moncton. I'll have her detailed next week so she should be half-assed presentable.

So, with all the delays, I'd hope that a meet would be next month... I know some of you guys want to do something with the nationals but I was feeling more something private, chilled. Anyone else?

I'll be in Victoria until the 29th. Could try for something after that.

I see no point in rolling down highways when there are so may great back roads around. My only reason for suggesting a meet in NS is there are so many back roads I've found from riding motorcycles over the years and most of them are in very good shape. Do something extreme like the Cabot Trail over 2 days?

So do you want to do something for the nationals?
Not sure Pat. I've got a bunch of work things on the go. I was hoping it was later this year. I'll get back to ya.

I would somewhat have to disagree, some is nice but there is a long stretch outside Moncton that is super super bad.

Agreed, I like Moncton cause its central to everyone who would be coming I think. Not sure how good the roads are this year but usually they are pretty ok.

It gets a bit much. I had a great time last year as my father really likes me to go with him to shows. He gets a big kick out of it. I was treated VERY well by the Z Club and invited to go on their cruise. I even won a prize!
Also I think Moncton would be a good place to meet as they have the strongest base for auto enthusiats in the Maritimes and it's quite central. I can't speak for how good the roads are.
Halifax and surrounding area has a very good car base but like most places the import scene is a little weak. We do have some excellent drives but we're not very central. If people wanted to do a meet here I'd be happy to try to put something together if I can fit it in with my work schedule.

I agree 100%, I can appreciate anything nice but I would tend to think most people on this skyline forum would rather goto say sport compact nights then the atlantic nationals given a choice. I know there is other stuff at the nationals but I can't help but feel a bit unwelcomed there. However regardless even with that being said, I would still meet up at the nationals if some other guys also wanted to. I didn't think you could come and go that freely.
