to me insurance companies are a big scam. cause all u do is pay and pay and pay but if u get into an accident after 10 years of perfect driving they still raise ur rates and ****. to me every 2 years of no accidents or tickets they should be giving back half of ur money back that u wasted on having insurance.

I totally agree!!! But most people will say what happeneds if you dont have insurance and you get in an accident. That would be sweet if they gave back money or even gave you bonuses like no deductible if you car gets broken in too.

insurance is required gambling: you're basically gambling that you're a bad driver or not, and the insurance company is letting you buy in on your own action based on your track record. But it doesn't matter anyways cos they're just going to try to flip around and screw you of money that should be your own anyways... lame

Not sure if this is the same thing or not. My insurance broker contacted me a little while back said that the insurance company was asking for additional info because they said the car didnt exist in the Ontario registry. I send the importation info and a couple of pics and apparently it was all good.

Insurance companies are just messed right up. Everything's to make money with them.

I confirmed what RightDrive found out. I went to my local MTO office today with my ownership, insurance, and all the import and sale documents. in 30 seconds they told me no problem, my ownership and insurance match so no worries. They said there will be no effect on my yearly registration when due.
