Hmmm ok I will do some looking into this. My other question is, does what ever is underneath the wrap have to have a full base-clear paint before coverage? I am wondering because I am planning on doing a K-Break kit before the wrap and there is no point in painting further than primer if its not necessary..... I know primer will abosrb moisture but I am assuming the wrap is waterproof to the surface below so I wasnt sure if that would matter. Let me know what you guys think.

Primer will not work well. Wrap vinyl is designed to stick to glossy surfaces. Any time you have a respray it needs time to flash off. If the prep is not done correctly the vinyl will stick to paint, but when you remove the wrap the paint can come off with the vinyl. properly prepped and painted panels you wont have a problem with. You can't fix stupid.

I assume it's because of the ease of removal with vinyl, as opposed to sanding and repaint if you want it back to normal in the future. I would personally just use Plasti-Dip on the roof, paint on top, and peel it off in the future if needed. I see people do it on rims all the time.97' R33 GT-R Vspec
