drifting is not nearly as challenging as timed/grip/circuit racing...drifitng although not easy is just a matter of getting certain techniques down. Time and speed are not factors of the success.

I'm not bugging you trav. i'm just stating why i don't get it.

    Fear.........lol

Tony's right, these cars are meant to be driven, and going a straight line is not really driving. Autox is alot harder than you think, and your actually able to see yourself get better without having to dump a boat load of cash into your car. Our cars just aren't meant for drag racing, but it is still fun just not really challenging.

Drifting would be fun as well, but it's not realistic. Too costly and too far if Brandon is the only place to go.

i love pushing my car more then just a straight line. Im not a fan of auto x and doesnt interest me. My type of thing is drifting and to me its a much more fun way to push my car and be the best possible driver i can be. End of subject if someone doesnt wanna do something why keep bothering them about it? You guys love it and i appreciate that. It seems like you guys dont have the same passion for drifting as me and wlad and thats fine. To each of their own.

I just don't understand how you all have fun pushing your car, but only in a strait line. Autocross allows you to push your car to the limits! How is that not interesting to you?

So what if it's only 2nd gear...when your out there it feels like you are going 120+ and your gripping your steering wheel so hard to keep control.

I respect that it's not people things, but as avid car fans and guys who like to push their cars and have fun I just don't understand how this doesn't seem interesting.
