Anyone from the GVRD singed up for the poker run?

I plan on getting to Kam before 9AM Friday,that means leaving Scurvy by 5.Want to get there before the flatlanders wake up in there RV's.

My route will be -Hwy 1 to Hope (boring i know):roll:
- fuel up at the Chevron.

- Hwy 3 to Prinseton

- Hwy 5a Aspen grove,Merritt

-Hwy 5 to Kamloops 8)

Bit of a lone wolf but if anybody want's to tag along your more then welcome.

I've got Friday off so I'm leaving early in the morning that's before 5 A.M.

There's nothing more frustrating then sitting in a skyline the tenth car be hide a 5th wheel from Saskatchewan doing 50k in a (70k advised corner) you know can be done easy at 100k+ ......... and no passing lane in sight!

You guys are heading to the canyon hanging a right at Cache Creek and through Savona and on to Kamloops. Very nice road but for my money I'll take the Hope,Princeton and the 5a.

YES I will be blasting into the "Heart of the Sunrise" .... and other classic rock tunes.

I would go this way to avoid traffic..

however the tunnel is prolly going to be bad, but once your clear it should be smooth sailing..

so i just noticed, its official.....we as a club are now recognized by Hot Nite In the City!!!!! there website has a short blurb about canada skyline clubs being the theme. then theres a video on youtube from a past year.....omfg i am sooo stoked now....cant wait.. 4weeks!!!.
