I find it a little unfortunate that someone that has been obviously taking advantage of the community is still being defended. Doesn't matter if his car looks like Shi%^ or is a best of show hottest thing ever. I don't think anyone that is willing take advantage of a communities good will in order to just make a quick buck should be defended by said community.
Last time I saw the car was at the golden gardens meet but I never got a close look at it. From pictures it looks great but I know that small blemishes can easily be hidden in photos.
Either way, if the dude comes clean then maybe his car wouldn't be the target of vandalism, it is pretty unique and easily spotted which would make an easy target.Last edited by Reality; 11-01-2010, 08:43 AM.

Martin has helped me many times, even granting me access to his shop, tools and lift, and scoring me a good deal on my front bumper. Pulled a lot of strings to get it to me within a week of buying my car... I'd met him once before he came to my house with the bumper in the front seat of his Soarer and helped me dremel and install it in my driveway.
Martin has never steered me wrong, and to say he's taken advantage of an entire community is crap. He made some mistakes, no denying that, but I still think he's done more good than not... Otherwise he would have to be out of his mind to show up to local meets now and again.DISCLAIMER: If any of the above comments in this post hurt your feelings you are likely taking me too seriously; I'm probably just busting your balls. I like how a few ppl have a problem with him and the entire forum is against him because the stories spread outward, making it seem like he went around and destroyed ppl's lives and gave their children jesus juice while watching 70's soft porn reruns.

There is lots of speculation on who did it. All I know is it's fixed and looking sharp.

He did my timing belt. When he was doing it, he's a great guy. He's just a little hard to get a hold of 60% of 100% of the time.
And when he came to the meet a few weeks ago, he was wondering how the car was running and even tried to diagnose what was wrong with it."Manual transmission is like riding a horse. Automatic transmission is like riding a merry-go-round."

I don't give a shiit what the next guy thinks about my car, I do it for personal enjoyment. Anyways flame the guy all you want but in the long run I would give the guy nothing but a high five and be glad that someone out there is willing to be unique. Now what's the difference between doing this and say maybe a 2jz swap or a sr in a skyline. Same thing. And mine wasn't the nicest when it first came out. It's always a work in progress.
