update: after taking my intake mani off , everything this time, not just throttle bodies, we find that the gasket was old and crusty, and the machine shop tells us that the intake mani itself looked like someone took a grinding wheel to it scratched to S***, but everything is streight and ready to go back in when i lefter this afternoon, should be fully back together and ready to go lunchtime tommarow im thinking :drive: i rly rly rly think this is gonna solve my problem , also to look at my head you could swear this motor was just rebuild, cleanest RB head they have ever seen ,the mechanics said,

side note: Autobahn88 kit also put in, and may i just say .. what a piece of uke: but you pay for what you get and only a bit of fabrication needed, the front turbo intake piece in the kit is garbage doesnt work at all , and recirc doesnt line up at all and somes out at funny angles, so this piping kit will now be termed "TSS rb26 piping kit", as i do not believe autobahn deserves any credit what so ever
and still looks good IMO, probably looks better including the apexi filters and all

gonna go down tommarow morning and take some pictures , hopefully the car is still ripped apart in the AM

F*** my life , even when theeres sunshine it rains lol,

got the car back today, nice low idle, great afr, no boost leaks, pulls like never befor :drive: piping kit looks good,

but apon closer inspection the "custom" piping the shop made is semi pro to say the least

my bill is f-ing rediculous, which i paid only!!! because i need my car for work , but at this price i wish i bought a beater and did the work myself.

aswell when i took my car in the first time to get my INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET done, and they didnt do it, you'd think when i brought it back they would realize there mistake .. and correct it (ie: they didnt actually replace my intake mani gasket only throttle body gaskets) but then they have the nerve to charge me for the gaskets and machining costs when i bring it back a third time, having found the leaky intake mani gasket myself (with a smoke test.

12 hours in labout installing a piping kit , 2 full days, re-god-dam-diculois

should have done it myself, there is nothing they did that i couldnt have done, but i thought, hey! my car is in the shop , they are mechanics they should be able to make short work of this, WRONG...WRONG!!!
that being said i will be redoing a bit of there handy work myself,

throughout this thread i have been reluctant to post the shops name as i didnt want to be one to slander a shop or post negatively about them, as they used to be a shop i would trust.

but now F*** that, i will most likely not be going back to the skyline shop in the forseable future, they get an A for effort, but an F for F***ed up

WILL POST PICS WHEN I CAN

        12 hours? Wow.

bumper re/re 1.5 hour with undertray
        piping 1.5 hour

If either of those takes longer at a "skyline shop" thins are not right.

I had a 400 dollar bill there once, cv boot clamp and oil change. Learnt my lesson and started taking tools with me on road trips.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... AAAAAHAHAHAHAHA.. PROBLEMS ARE BACK.. poor AFR and bagging under boost.. gonna do a smoke test on monday then bring it back to TSS and let them know.. this is BS.. how unlucky could one car be ..

if it is in fact something that they worked on i shouldnt have to pay right .. .. to have it redone .. correction.. redone RIGHT!!!

took a few quick picks with a friends camera, i would be happy with everything, if only the car ran properly, it wont surprise me one bit if i take the car for a smoke test tommarow, and the intake mani is leaking once again, but i would be happy if it is only a loose coupling.

heres where it gets F***ed up ... it was supposed to go into the shop tommarow to get the intake mani re-done.. so i took it for a drive .. around town .. short .. started with about a half tank .. wasnt going anywhere far so didnt fill it up .. .. next thing i know i look down at the gauge.. im at a quarter tank ... not 7 blocks from my house.. and the car reaks like gas ..symptoms now: lean at idle .. bogging under accel... and an obviouse fuel leak .. i limp it home .. and berely make it home on a quarter a tank ..

check my engine bay .. cant see any gas .. but i can smell it vary clearly .. no leaky injectors from what i could see with a flashlight .. and i couldnt see any leaky lines .. but there was a non stop drip of fuel running down my tranny onto the onto the gound :? :? so im towing it to the shop tommarow morning .. hopefully when they take the intake off again .. they can see the problem ..

Do you have an aftermarket fuel pump? 1/4 tank in seven blocks seems very high pressure. i guess it all depends how fast you where driving too...
