64L was the most I've ever had to fill and that was when I couldn't find a gas station haha. poor decision-making.. I had ~610km on my trip odo at the time. I reset it after I fill it every time even before I start the car.

Usually, this is how my fuel gauge says it:
        - Around 92km, the needle finally moves.
        - 200km is decent before it passes the first line.
        - 300km is ok before it passes the half mark.
        - 500km is usual around the third line. I fill up here when I can. Usually 55-60L to a fill.

Today I filled up at shell a couple hours ago:

it says 59.194L. I had 507km on the odo at the time and I was boosting more than usual.

        (59/507)*100= 11.637081L/100km, or 0.11637L/km

        Since 6L (til 65L full tank) is 51.55% of 11.637081L, 51.55% of 100km is 51.55km.

Therefore, 51.55+507=558.55km for 65L with some redlining, boosting and lots of turbo timer idle action.

If it makes you guys feel any better, I went almost a month getting <500km/tank. I put some fuel injector cleaner before filling my next tank and now it's right back up to about 600km/tank.

        I don't know what's going on either.

i just changed every fluid in my car and had a awesome tune up,

did the fuel injector cleaner make that much a difference u think?

do you guys use fuel additives at all? octane booster? idler? etc?

for me i was getting 600km per tank, this is what i believe a gtr should get in optimum condition.

soon after beating on it all summer my fuel consumption went up to 450km per tank. im gonna try changing my plugs, cleaning my injectors, air filter, and changing fuel filter that should bring it back up to snuff.

if this doesn't work what else should i try to get it back to how it was like when i first got it?

I'm sure this is off topic, but with the first stage of my break in tune I have gotten a whopping 186KM per half a tank of fuel . Yep it's running rich me thinks.

you must have some seriously gassy oil. Certainly cannot be good for the engine.

It bugged me all last night about what you had posted so this morning when I got up I went an smelt inside the oil cap on the car an you are correct, it smells of gas now.

So I'm not sure if I have ECU or injector or internal motor issues :-(.

                              PS..Sorry for highjacking this thread.

until the rings are bedded you are going to have gassy oil, that's part of break in on these engines.

My most recent engine had gassy oil for nearly 1000 km. Just make sure you are changing it enough or you may need new bearings before it goes away. Definitely trouble shoot the richness issue though as that's not good for any engine
