My car is going to be making upwards of 600hp now. (more on racegas!).
I'm sure that the stock brakes aren't going to like that, especially on track days. I've got upgraded pads (EBC yellows) but I just don't see them handling THAT much power on track, at least not for long.
I don't want to spend thousands of dollars on a big brake kit either.
What are some economical options that will handle that kind of power and fit inside a 17" wheel?
I have a feeling that adapting some other OEM setup designed for something heavier and fast from the factory will work well.
Has anyone looked into the EVO/STi brembos? they're cheap as hell and look WAY bigger than R32 brakes. I'm sure with good pads they perform excellently. and they're both the same bolt pattern (all evo's, and sti's after 05) as R32's so maybe rotors will even fit.
