nissans are made from paper thin metal. if you live in an area where they salt the roads expect it to turn into a rustbucket in a few years.

It's financially retarded... So your gonna buy a 8-10k GTR and its going to stay in top shape for 1 year meaby (rust etc.) Afther 1 year you can A) scrap de car (8k in the gutter) B) try the rebuild/replace the rusted parts $$$$ and it wont stop rusting.
A 15-20 years oid race car (without any agressive maintenance schedule) is not a daily driver...

Well if you live somewhere where it gets down to -45 they aren't going to salk the road seeing as its useless past -20 or w.e the temp is. I'm personally buying an r32 for year round use since I can keep it in my garage and don't have to worry about cold starts. I've always loved r32's and I think it will look great parked next to my r351994 GTR V-Spec II

Has anyone seen an older car with the electronic rust proof systems?
ex.
I may end up scrapping my plan, but I wanted to keep my GTST as a summer/track car and get a GTR as a daily. Originally I was going to rust proof it yearly (krown etc) but my father recently had the electronic rust proofing installed so I was curiously if anyone has tried it on an older car?93 R33 GTST - DD

The above link is a document created by the module company, but they do back up their claims with lab tests from outside parties. But obviously take those tests with a grain of salt.
If I were you, I'd get the Krown rust proofing for sure, and augment it with the module if you don't mind spending the extra money (i don't think those modules cost too much anyway).
