New rb26 failure

    Feel your pain. Had a local shop spin a bearing on my motor by joy riding it. Since then ive been to a mechanic once to change the wheel bearings on my truck because i physically couldnt get them off myself.

    X2. You would also need race fuel unless you like your motor knocking. RStuning stoped me at 1.25bar on my -7's because of knock with pump gas and i dont see knock go over 24 on the hottest of days.

      I havent been on this thred here in a while. I will post my new dyno chart. I was having problems with my car surging at idle. So I brought to Ed at EQ tunning here in CA lfornia. I just wanted him to fix the surging . He fukin erased my tune. WTF?????? Then my car would not start, it was stuck at his shop for 2 months untill he made a new map. Then he charges me to retune my car. I think he should have comped the tune because he erased my other tune..

      I think it makes around 540 or so right now on 91 octane pump gas @ 19 lbs of boost. I do have an up graded fuel pump too. I don't know **** about tunning but how do these guys in the UK make 25-30 lbs of boost?

        The original shop was called performance options in oakland CAlifornia. I guess the name came from " you should consider other options of shops to goto..

        I know the owner and he screwed me in the arse. They hire subpar mechanics for minmum wage. It like goig to home depot and hiring day labor's to work on cars. I thought Joey the owner of the shopwas going to take care of me. He took care of his pocket book.

          They run E85 (buy in drums) or for really high boost levels, Methonal (with 2.8 litre bottomend, custom copper headgasket + Orings, custom CNC deck plate for block + Darton sleeves, extra head bolts inbetween cylinders to stop head from lifting, etc, basically a HKS shortblock).

          Only people I would trust in that part of country are Eric at Cosworth -
