you can advance the intake camshaft with regular adjustable pulley. lose some top end but gain so much down looooow!

there is cheaper option than the HKS Vcam system...
It's not easy. Use RB25 NVCS intake cam and pulley. 26 head needs to be machined for hydraulic activation (oil). RB25 solenoid, custom solenoid manifold and ss lines. I've seen it on intake and exhaust!

exhaust is a real pain. need to move the CAS. plus adjustable exhaust doesn't add much power.

one issue that pops up are 25, 25NEO, 26 all use different lifters. but with some research and playing you can make it work. custom cam ground from aftermarket blanks to perfectly match rb26 style lifters. there are also other ways. research. research.
second issue, stock NVCS pulley can be come a leak link at high power an/or high rpm. there is a fix for that too. research and playing little bit will get it working.
