      good write up on the "how to" i might have to take my headlights apart becuase the hid mount kit inside it just flopping around and i cant control the beam.

          This is a really easy job lol. I did it last year but will need to do it again because I didn't use the right paint . It all got cooked from the heat of the headlamp. If its not done twice it's not done right I guess. P.S. I would bake headlights on 150 for more like 20 minutes on top of wet cardboard. 350 sounds like your getting ready to bake some chicken.

            what kind of paint did you use? they sell 900f exhaust paint, I doubt this paint wouldn't work?

            I want to do it.. but not sure about the halo ring tho I dunno.. it's like having a bmw look on a super unique skyline.. dunno haha

                Removing the housing is easy once its hot enough. Just keep taking it out of the oven and use some old mitts to pull on the glass until it comes off without breaking anything. I used some High temp spray paint. May just be the primer I used that doesn't bond very well to the paint I used.

                      might be a stupid question but better than ask than say oops after doing it.

                      does the chrome affect the performance of the ligthing ? i.e: If you paint it black, will I loose ''performance'' ?
